I’ve so enjoyed tutoring this year, and it’s been an absolute delight. But yes, by far the most common thing I’ve said is “it’s ok if you’re not happy with it, you just need to have something handed in”.

That applies to so many things. Even beyond art. (I’m in academia, and I’m thinking it’s true for research articles too.)
