Good luck with Xmas – hope it goes as smoothly as possible.
In the mean time, if you want to support some other folks – there’s a group of South Auckland-based Pacific artists wanting to share, network and discuss our work and ideas about Pacific art in Wellington in the two weeks surrounding the annual Positively Pasifika Festival in mid-January. These folks are incredible artists, and you can support their crowdfunding project here.
Also! Rainbow Youth have opened submissions for their annual Pride Art Exhibition, which will showcase creativity from Queer and Trans* artists exploring ideas surrounding sexuality and gender diversity in relation to politics, history, communities and identity. Contact Ash at ashspittal@gmail.com, or visit the ArtistRY Facebook page for more info.
Great work!
I see my idea! Yay!
Excellent work =]
<3 I'm about to head into a holiday season where I'm beginning to come out to my family, and some of these are already sounding familiar. I'm sure I'll be using your advice. Thank you!
I might have to try and make myself one of those jumpers. ‘Course, it’ll be for next year. Haha, maybe then I will have actually told my parents I’m genderqueer…
I NEED the pronoun sweater! Hey, hey, I’M THEY! Being NB and in the closet was so hard this Christmas… especially because I still like to present as my assigned gender, they want to just hurl that pronoun at me.. yuck!
