So, Joe had his first T-shot a week or so ago…
TRANSCRIPT:
Panel 1:
Person 1: (A silhouette of a person, who is facing the viewer, with an open mouth. One arm is bent straight up at the elbow, the hand in a fist, with one finger pointing straight up. The other arm is by Person 1’s side.) BE PREPARED!!
Person 2: (A silhouette of a person, who is facing the viewer, with an open mouth. Both arms are bent up at the elbows, bent back at the wrists, and fingers are curled forward, like claws.) They use a much thicker needle.
Person 3: (A silhouette of a person, who is facing Person 2, with an open mouth. One arm is bent up at the elbow, with the hand in a fist, and one finger bent up and forward, like a hook.) T is more viscous.
(There is a caption at the bottom of the panel, which reads:) We were told horror stories about how painful testosterone shots are.
Panel 2:
Sam: (A person wearing a grey undershirt, a maroon sweater, and brown trousers, who is sitting in a grey chair, facing the viewer, but looking at Joe. Eyebrows are pushed slightly together, mouth is closed, and small. One arm is bent forward at the elbow, the forearm resting atop the chair’s armrest, fingers curled over the edge. The other arm is raised at the shoulder, and wrapped around Joe’s shoulders, with Sam’s hand resting on Joe’s far shoulder. There are two parallel lines next to Sam’s head, which indicate movement.)
Joe: (A person wearing a grey, collared shirt, a yellow sweater, with a horizontal, grey stripe across the chest, and dark grey trousers, who is sitting in a grey chair, and looking at the viewer. Eyebrows are raised, and pushed together, mouth is closed, and small. Arms are bent forward and together at the elbow, and hands are closed next to each other, in Joe’s lap. There are four sets of two parallel lines either side of Joe’s head, and one set by Joe’s shoulder, all of which are indicating movement.)
(Next to Sam, there is another grey chair. To the side of the chair, on the wall, is a medium grey rectangle, which is about twice the size of Sam’s head. Directly above the chair, on the wall, is a dark grey rectangle, which is about the same size as Sam’s head. Inside the rectangle is a gold coloured blob, with a couple of gold coloured blobby lines above and below it. There is a medium grey line running along the wall, at about chest height. Next to Joe there is a full, three tiered pamphlet/ magazine stand. There is a caption above Joe’s head, which reads:) So I prepared myself to be the strongest, most caring boyfriend for Joe’s first shot of T.
Panel 3:
Person 1: (Person 1’s hand is holding a filled syringe, which has a needle attached, and is being pushed into Joe’s buttock.)
Joe: (Joe’s naked butt is in the centre of the panel, and Joe’s lower back and upper thighs are at the edges of the panel.)
(Next to the injection site, is a word, which reads:) Prick!!
Panel 4:
First Joe: (A person wearing a grey, collared shirt, and dark grey trousers, who is standing side-on to the viewer, with butt twisted towards the viewer, trousers pulled down far enough that the injection site can be seen. Joe is looking down at the injection site, with raised eyebrows, and an open mouth.) Huh? That was it?! But it didn’t hurt…
Second Joe: (A person who is facing, and looking directly at the viewer, with eyebrows raised high, and an open mouth with very upturned edges. Both arms are raised at the shoulders, and bent up at the elbows, with hands closed in fists.) I must be SUPER TOUGH!
(There is a medium grey line running along the wall behind the Joes, at chest height. There are a couple of lines running from the first Joe to the second, indicating movement, and there is a caption at the bottom of the panel, which reads:) Joe’s on T now!
Owwwww! I loathe needles. But congrats! 😀
Also, the syringe in the third panel looks like an Olde-Tymey Syringe from a steampunk era gone by. Which obviously makes it extra-awesome.
Yay, yes, well have no fear – if you decide to be more boy-inclined the necdle isn’t that scary! And, they stick it in your butt, so you don’t ever even need to see it.
Olde-tymey needles are awesome – it looked much more current-tymey in real life, however… possibly a relief?
nice bum, joe 😉
Thanks! (Yep, I’m taking the credit!)
Belated congrats to Joe! (I pretty much just found this site, so yeah)
I remember my first time, only about 11 weeks ago now. When I saw the needle the nurse used to draw it, I was like ‘oh god, she’s gonna stick me with that?’ When I she switched it to a smaller needle to inject, I was very much relieved, and then amazed at how much it didn’t really feel like anything. Now I do it myself at home.
Thanks man! Yeh, I think the plan is to eventually do it at home – but Joe will have to trust me with that kind of responsibility first!
super belated congrats to him. ive never heard of the shots hurting. ive been on T since last july(09)and they never bothered me either.
Thanks! I am glad other guys are just as tough! I’m sure I’ll be wimpy about it if I go on T.
