It was cool heading back home and getting some reflections from old friends on how I was in my youth, and some weird projects I did as a kid. I always felt so insecure and out of place as a kid and teen – so it was quite shocking to think of myself as self-assured. But looking at those assignments, I was obviously a pretty big weirdo, and unapologetically so, so I guess that’s a kind of self-assuredness in and of itself.
