Both arms are bent up at the elbows, one hand is closed around a hammer. There are two lines near Sam’s hand, which indicate movement. The other palm is horizontal, with its thumb sticking out, and its fingers bent up, and curled slightly back towards Sam.) Transitioning is not a rejection of women, or female-ness, or femininity.

 

Panel 2:

The other arm is bent up at the elbow, and its fingers are bent downwards, holding onto a white rectangular object.) Women have always been a major part of my life and always will be. My identity is built upon the foundation of strong, proud women.
