I’ve been CRAZY busy with work and kickstarter finishing stuff that I’ve been super slack about comics – I’m really, really sorry about the lack of updates, and I’ve called in some amazing people to do guest strips for me.
The first one is brought to you by K*roo, you can find more of his awesome comics here: http://k-asterisk-roo.tumblr.com
Grrr made me mad. Hmm like when the psychiatrist laughed out loud when I said I wanted to have kids. The shit we put up with.
Unbelievable!! We’re pretty resilient folk!
Sam,
I didn’t notice till today that you are a trans guy (though I know of a few comics on this site :-).
The risk of cancer is supposed to be real – maybe highlight stats, dubious claims and downsides.
I can’t find a place for general suggestions/ideas on the site..?
Hey Mani – This one is a guest strip, but yeh the majority of the comics are by me, and I’m trans.
In terms of the risk of cancer, men are generally at higher risk of certain types of cancers, and taking testosterone, will increase these risks, but decrease other risks. I think what this comic is trying to get across is the continual gatekeeping by medical professionals, and the prohibitive/paternalistic model, as opposed to a more empowering informed consent model.
