So this is what has happened to my face over the past couple of years on testosterone – discounting the obvious pimple plague of a second puberty – but I am proud to say that I am now the grower of a somewhat visible patchy stubbly face!

Somewhat patchy stubble F.T.W.!!!
I’ve read through this comic slowly but surely through the past few weeks, and let me tell you, it’s been amazing for taking my mind off school work/trans feels/mental stuff/you name it! I love the humour you manage to put into the everyday ups and downs of life as a trans dude, interspersed with meaningful, thought-provoking strips. Please keep doing what you do, because it’s awesome!
Also, quick shout-out to Joe who, through popping up here and there in Rooster Tails, helped me realise that being a nonbinary/genderqueer dude (like myself, I realised with the help of Rooster Tails), and going on T despite not being a binary trans dude (as I hope to do in the future), are A-okay!
I hope you guys are having a rad day/night 🙂
Oh thanks Alex! That’s so awesome. Yes, I think Joe is quite excellent too 😉 – I actually would spend all day ranting about how amazing they are, and how important they’ve been in helping me think about gender in general, and in a personal sense, but I probably wouldn’t be able to stop if I started! There’s so many different ways to do gender, and you definitely should do what you want, regardless of what is ‘expected’ of you. Have you you read Sfe Monster’s testosterone mini? It’s amazing and all about being genderqueer and on T: http://sfemonster.tumblr.com/post/113537594665
I haven’t read that actually, but I’m going to take a look now! Thanks for the rec! 🙂
