I’m putting this up a little bit early because I’m away this week. The colouring is a little off for this strip, but I’m sure I’ll get into a better swing of things in time.
TRANSCRIPT –
Panel 1:
Sam: (A person wearing a blue shirt and a black cardigan, who’s eyes are looking directly at the viewer. Eyebrows are up and mouth is open.) Living as Sam feels great – feeling like I’m outwardly acknowledging who I am.
Panel 2:
Sam: (Eyes are looking up, eyebrows raised, and mouth is open, with upturned corners. Arm is bent up at the elbow, palm is horizontal, and fingers relaxed.) Being ‘Sir’d and called ‘he’ and ‘him’…
Panel 3:
Sam: (Eyes are looking directly at the viewer, eyebrows are raised, and mouth is open. One arm is bent up at the elbow, hand is vertical, and fingers together.) But, really, what I most think about is a chance to do drag as CHER!! To think, I was such a mopey, shy girl growing up…
Panel 4:
Sam: (Eyes are looking directly at the viewer, and are closed slightly at the outer corners. Eyebrows are up, mouth is open, with upturned corners. Arms are bent up at the elbows, palms vertically facing the viewer, with splayed fingers.) But, dammit, the costumes would be FAB-ulous!
your colouring is FAB-ulous, you look like an irish vampire.
Ooh, it’s neat that you’re getting “Sir’d.” You’re still young enough to be referred to as “Master,” which is the coolest honorific EVER. I think you should start demanding that people call you Master Orchard immediately. Doooo it.
Master Orchard! That’s totally awesome! I definitely will insist upon that from now on! And it will go with the whole irish vampire thing toooo.
Sorry to JUST NOW be learning about this strip (Nov. 17 2011) because it just went on hiatus lst month. But, maybe when you come back, i will still be looking. very cute. Unlike “”Convict’s Candy”which leads the reader to believe every gay, lesbian, tranny, or anything not specifically STRAIGHT will die because of aids. stupid bullshit.
This is the first time I’ve heard another ft-something refer to themselves as having been shy, as I was, as a child. Thank you so much for this.
This feels like a comic that someone specifically made about me. Lol
