This is one of two, and is pretty heavy. Sorry about that. Things feel pretty heavy at the moment. The second half will be up next week.
I don’t understand why people aren’t accepting. Why exactly do we need binary genders for anyway? Some people are lovely, no matter what gender/sexuality they feel they are. Some people are not nice, no matter what gender/sexuality they feel they are. Unfortunately/fortunately I am a cis woman who is very happy with my gender/sexuality. It’s not like choosing your preferred gender affects the rest of everyone else. Maybe people are sad that they weren’t able to make their own choices when they were younger? Basically, people make it difficult to be transgender and I think that is crap.
My comment on this was WAAAAY too long, so I vlogged it.
Sorry it’s somewhat tangental to the actual comic.

The TL;DR is, as a Transman do you think they’re way more Transwoman representation in mainstream media than Transmale?
If so, why do you think that is?
Is it the want to present women as sexual and tragic, but wanting to present men as strong, successful and without emotional issues?
This is really interesting to me, and I do not know the answers!
AHHHHHHHHHHHH. That petition is especially disturbing, given that it was created by people under the queer umbrella and signed by a couple thousand people, but I am at least relieved to see that there have been several official responses, flatly and unanimously against the idea.
