Still waiting to hear back from my endo about what to do…
Transcript –
Panel 1:
Sam 1: (A person wearing a sky blue, collared shirt, with sleeves rolled up to the elbows, a green vest, and dark trousers who is facing the viewer, with eyes squeezed shut. Mouth is open, with very upturned edges. Arms are raised at the shoulders, with elbows bent out slightly and hands open above Sam’s head. There are a couple of parallel dashes next to one of Sam’s hands, indicating movement.)
Sam 2: (A person who is next to Sam 1, and facing away from the viewer. Arms are raised by 90 degrees at each shoulder, hands are closed and are bent back towards Sam, at the elbow. There are a couple of parallel dashes next to one of Sam’s hands, indicating movement. One hip is pushed to the side, and there are two sets of parallel dashes, one next to each of Sam’s hips, which indicate movement.)
Sam 3: (A person who is next to Sam 2, and also facing away from the viewer. Arms are raised by 180 degrees at each shoulder, and hands are mostly closed, above Sam’s head. There are two parallel dashes next to one of Sam’s arms, and another two alongside Sam’s torso, both of which are indicating movement.)
Sam 1, 2 & 3: I’m starting T on Wednesday!
Panel 2:
Sam: (A person who is facing the viewer, but looking down at a letter. Eyebrows are raised and mouth is open wide, with downturned edges. Arms are raised at the shoulder, and in Sam’s hands is the letter.) Wait! What?? Sustanon crisis? Not available in NZ until December??
Panel 3:
Sam: (A person who is facing the viewer, eyes screwed shut, eyebrows lowered slightly and mouth open very wide, with downturned edges. Arms are raised at the elbows, bent back at the wrists, and fingers are bent forward.) Noooooooooooooo!!
Panel 4:
Sam: (A person who is facing the viewer, but looking to the side, towards Joe. Eyebrows are raised slightly and mouth is a tiny, closed ‘o’.)
Joe: (A person wearing a purple t-shirt and a red neckerchief, who is facing the viewer, but looking at Sam. Eyebrows are raised slightly and mouth is open, with downturned edges. One arm is raised at the shoulder, hand atop one of Sam’s shoulders.) Sam! You have one vial of sustanon and you can call your endo to send out a new prescription. Easy. Drama Queen.
It’s happening in Australia too…. everyone I know is stocking up, but also getting prescriptions for primosteston. Can you get that in NZ? Might be worth looking into? (Also, it’s heaps easier to deal with than sustanon, because it’s already in a little syringe for you, and comes with a needle).
He can send a new prescription but the pharmacies don’t have any supplies, or suppliers!
I meant a prescription for something new – Joe’s doc gave him something called cypionate or something, it comes in a HUGE bottle, so weird. But at least I don’t have to crack those little sustanon bottles open anymore, they’re scary as hell.
I take cypionate. It’s pretty common in the U.S. And I love that you can get 10ML vials which tend to be cheaper than the smaller ones. 🙂
Yeh – that’s what I’m on now, ’cause sustanon is still unavailable. It’s good, heaps easier to manage ’cause I don’t have to go into the pharmacy every two weeks for a new bottle
I’m on something called Enantate, produced by Cambridge labs, because the carrier oil in Sustanon is peanut, and I have a nut allergy. Other than that it’s the same, in fact, a lot of people say it’s ‘smoother’/hurts less to be injected with it, not sure why that would be, though.
oh cool, haven’t heard of that one, apparently the one here that’s gonna replace sustanon bc of the shortage is called cypionate or something…
Congrats on getting on T! =D We started within a day of each other.
Hoorah! Hope it went well yesterday!
Yeah it did. Doctor started me on pills because he’s worried starting me too soon would cause my personality to destabilise. I saw you did get your T after all!!!(happy dancing to resemble your comic) How do you feel???
oh yeh, heaps of dudes start on pills too – hope it goes well!
Yep, got a T shot, don’t feel much ‘though ’cause it was such a little dose! But cool to finally start!
My doctor hasn’t heard of any shortage problems (Brisbane, Australia) and I’ve not had any trouble getting Primoteston, though a couple of hours outside of Brisvegas there is a shortage. I hear it’s happened before though, will probably happen again.
Congrats on your T starting! Welcome to the rest of your awesome life!
been reading all your comics over the last few days needed to comment on this because its so relieving to know im not the only one. there has been a testosterone shortage in my country ever since i started t and ive had to change prescriptions twice all has been fine in the end but i related a lot to this.
